Spring

Spring is here! Flowers are blossoming and bees are flying, baby animals are stretching their legs for the first time and love is in the air. How cliche of me, I know. But I just can't contain all of my excitement, Summer is nearly here!

Summer has always been my favourite season, I mean who doesn't love summer! The sun, the beach, tans, and ice creams. AHHHH! Give it to me now.

Winter is now officially over! See you next year Winter blues!
Now I know that it will still be cold, but it can only get warmer! Plus, my birthday's this season! Wooop!

Sorry for all you Northern Hemisphere people out there! But we Southern Hemisphere folks are going to love it.

I thought what not a better way to spend the first day of Spring but on the beach!

Please enjoy and follow, feel free to comment and give me tips on blog writing and photography! x

Horses and Ducks

I've had such a fun afternoon! The sun was out and it wasn't too cold! It was perfect, Spring is near.
Today my boyfriend and I hung around my little town we live in, since we're only home for 2 weeks we thought we'd make the most of it.

We had some lunch at one of the local cafes and then we separated ways for about an hour. On the way home I saw these two adorable miniature horses! They were so friendly and playful, came running up to me as I walked up to the fence.

After that, my boyfriend and I went and played some tennis at a small tennis court near our little town. It was pretty fun but we're both awful at it! And I got tired pretty quickly... unfit much! While he was running around the place! We then went for a walk on the beach which was near the tennis courts, which was lovely! I really miss the beach when I go back to University, to bad it's far to cold to swim yet! I can barely contain myself for summer time!

After that, we stopped at a little duck pond before I took him home, where we used to spend countless hours when we first started dating. It was like our summer spot for young love. We used to go feed the ducks there all the time! Sadly, we didn't have any bread and they had replaced most of the ducks that used to be there, with new ones! But they were still so cute!

And now to end the day, we're going out to see a movie at our local cinema. Goodnight! x

Room Photos

So recently I have become a little obsessed with this blogging idea. I'm really interested in it, but as I'm sure like many others, I am suffering from the famous 'writtersblock'. I come to this blank page and it's like I want to throw up all this writing but instead I sit here daydreaming about how amazing my writing could be.

I wan't to write about things that inspiring me, that light my fire, write about topics I'm passionate about. But I feel my writing isn't up to the standard I believe it to be, or daydream of. So I have created a second blog, which once I feel comfortable with my writing, I will use to write about things I find more interesting or important. But for now, I am going to stick on this blog, my more personal blog, and just write about silly things that are happening in my life, like my studying, friends, my relationship, clothes and make up I may buy. Just to kick start my writing. I also want to get better at my photography, like I have noticed many bloggers have a particular skill in.

I don't want to become a photographer by any means, I don't even want to be extremely good! I just want them to be okay, and so I can post cool pictures and learn to use Photoshop too! Annoyingly, my boyfriend is AMAZING at photography, but I don't want him to help me because I feel to embarrassed!

So to start off my blog properly, I just took some photos of my room (my dressing table pretty much) and somethings I bought today, just to learn how to use my camera properly with lighting etc. So here we go, and I will try blog more regularly from now on. :) Enjoy!

It'd be great if you guys could comment below on what you think and what I could do better, and maybe follow once I get better at this!

I have created a personal blog for myself, so explore my writing and to save my memories in a place I can't lose. I am currently 18 years old, Caucasian female, and I live in New Zealand. It was only 5 years ago, when I made the journey with my family from South Africa to the North Island of NZ, and I can't believe how time has flown by. I am currently at University, completing my first year. If you had to come across my blog, I hope you enjoy. :)
